本报告的研究时间段为2011年至2015年，恰逢“十二五”发展规划期间。报告翔实总结了近五年来粮油科学技术学科的发展概况，展示了取得的重要新理论、新技术、新成果、新贡献；详细研究了国外粮油科学技术的发展前沿；深刻剖析了国内粮油科学技术与世界同行先进水平的差距及原因；深入探讨了粮油科学技术学科如何适应我国经济发展新常态下的战略需求；全面具体提出了“十三五”期间粮油科学技术学科的发展方向和研发重点。形成了一部粮油科学技术学科“十二五”发展史，未来“十三五”规划目标的文献。本报告包括综合报告和粮食储藏、粮食加工、油脂加工、粮油质量安全、粮食物流、粮油营养、饲料加工、发酵面食、粮油信息与自动化等9个专题报告。
